Design of the structure for an aircraft braking system (Dutch: Vliegtuig AfremInstallatie Volkel, also: VAI). The VAI will be placed at five different airports in the coming years. An aircraft braking system is a safety system that is placed at the beginning and end of a runway. It is intended to safely stop various types of fighter aircrafts, including the F-35, in the event of a disaster during take-off or landing.
